Grazin' all day

Oh, yeah, I kinda sorta had to take some stuff home from Sticky Fingers. DON’T JUDDE ME, PEOPLE. Like really, I hella had to. I feel like I went to space and came back with moon rocks. But I ate them, so I guess my analogy isn’t compatible? Whatever. Edible moon rocks. There.

Lemme walk ya through this starting at the top left. The “Gilbert Ganache-fried” (weird, I know) was the one whipped up on Cupcake Wars. It’s a chocolate seltzer cake with chocolate ganache and banana frosting, aka euphoria in a baking cup. Then there’s red velvet, “cookies n cake,” and yet another peanut butter fudge cupcake (I needed to get another one. That good.) Oh, and cookies. Yeah. Cookies. Once again, I had to. *dies*

STICKY FINGERS!!!!!!!!!

Happy little girl right here.

Superior eats at a superior vegan bakery (and when I say superior, I mean superior). They won Cupcake Wars, which means I should have bowed down before the doors prior to entering. Or something. Anywho, I made sure I came here whilst on my DC trip. What your eyes behold is a s’mores cupcake topped with a dandies vegan marshmallow (someone bring me more) and a DAMN GOOD peanut butter cupcake. I think I finally reached nirvana, or heaven, or maybe I blacked out from rabid hysteria.

Here’s the part where I bounce like an ADHD child and wave my hands like a maniac: I also tried the “TLT” (tempeh, lettuce, & tomato) and a grilled cheese with daiya, tempeh, tomato, and onions. LIKE. DUDE. I totally cried a little bit (well, not really, but you get it). And you can’t deny that that’s the cutest effing cappuccino you’ve ever seen. Sticky Fingers, I have feelings for you. Intense feelings. Let’s just say that if people still used myspace, they’d be on my top 8.

Now SHOO! Go to Sticky Fingers!

Founding Farmers in DC has a separate vegan menu. Can I get a “What whaaat?” Obviously I had to witness (and devour) this myself, so I waited two— yes, TWO— whole hours to nab a seat at this hippity hoppin’ place.
Though the menu had only a few options, I finally made up my mind and got a patty melt and GUESS WHAT. I had vegan cheese for the very first time in my life. Yes. It happened. Though not “OMG THERE REALLY IS A GOD”-worthy, it was pretty gosh darn appetizing.

Banana muffins? With… chocolate chips?! (and walnuts!) YEAH, YOU HEARD ME RIGHT. So damn good.

I followed this recipe for the muffins and added a topping from this recipe right hee-eere.

You gotta tell me that’s the cutest breakfast you’ve even seen in your LIFE. I just had to share even though it’s probably not even that cute. OOPS SORRY.

Anonymous asked: What kind of snake did you own, and what was it like having one? was it hard to take care of? I've always wanted a snake, never known anyone that had one, and I am very curious.

I had a Banana King Snake. He was absolutely gorgeous, and a very rare King Snake variation. Snakes are very easy to maintain, but feeding them mice was quite a challenge, turning out to be fairly expensive, and even a bit disturbing. They’re amazing pets though.
